Tucker is a longtime New York Thoroughbred owner and breeder who operates Stone Bridge Farm in Schuylerville, New York.  Among the horses he has raced is Acey Deucey, champion New York bred sprinter and 3-year-old filly of 2005. Tucker has been a leading advocate for equine welfare.

He is also a founding partner and member of the executive committee of Fairfield Greenwich Group, an asset management firm in Manhattan that manages over $9 billion in assets for its clients. Tucker has had a longtime connection with Equine Advocates, a Chatham, New York-based horse rescue group, and serves on its Board.  In May 2006 he was elected Board Chairman of Empire Racing. He also serves on the Board of the New York Breeders' Sales Company.

Tucker received his B.A. from Syracuse University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School

I grew up in Medina, a small town in western New York, on my family's dairy farm. I went into construction after my father's retirement but still raised beef animals with my brother on the side. I worked for 2 large companies for 8 years, Ajax-Smith in Buffalo N.Y.and Farrash Corp. out of Rochester N.Y. building factory complexes for companies like Kodak, Dupont and Xerox. My wife Melisa and I were married in 1990 and have 4 children. We owned a 30 acre farm where we raised beef cows and boarded horses beside our regular jobs. In 1997 we moved to the Saratoga area when Melisa was hired by the Glens Falls Hospital as a Occupational Therapist Assistant and I joined the Mason Union

October 2002 Jeffrey hired me as Operations Manager for Stonebridge Farm, At that time we were a small farm with growing ideas. Over the past 4 years we have grown tremendously with the construction of several barns, houses and development of the land. With the opening of the 7/8ths training track I see the future of Stonebridge Farm limitless. The growing horse industry in the Saratoga area with the Saratoga Race Track so close should make Stonebridge Farm one of the premier training centers in the northeast.
