The farm operates 3 hydroponic greenhouses totaling approximately 15,000 square feet, and a micro greens growing room measuring just over 1400 square feet. The emphasis of the greenhouses is on beefsteak and plum tomatoes. Produce is grown year round and sold through various wholesale and retail outlets. The farm will supply a NYC restaurant scheduled to open this coming Summer, with tomatoes and micro greens. The restaurant, to be known as Stone Bridge Farms, will focus on pizza, soups and salads,  promoting the increasingly popular farm to table concept.

GAP APPROVED: The Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification requires that the greenhouse be inspected by a USDA official. Approval for certification indicates that there are clearly outlined and strictly enforced food safety procedures for the handling of all produce. Following these food safety procedures greatly reduces the risk of food born illnesses. GAP also requires that records be kept of who enters the facility, handles produce, and operates/sanitizes any greenhouse equipment. Overall, purchasing produce from a farm that is GAP certified is the best way to ensure you are getting clean and well handled produce.
